Caramel Popcorn Recipe
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
syrups, corn, light
sugars, brown
butter, without salt
Directions:
Bring the first three ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan.
Boil one minute and pour over 4 qts of popped popcorn.
Spread onto waxed paper for loose caramel corn or possibly form into balls with buttered hands.
Variations: Cracker JackAdd 1 c. dry roasted peanuts to caramel mix just before pouring over popcorn.
Follow directions as above for loose caramel corn.
Spooky MixAdd 1 c. Cashews to caramel mix just before pouring over popcorn.
Mix as directed above, and when loose caramel corn is cooled, add in 2 c. Candy Corn and 1 c. Raisins; toss.
Makes a great snack mix!
