Healthy Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Dessert Recipe
Ingredients:
yogurt, greek, plain, nonfat
cream, fluid, heavy whipping
peanut butter, smooth style, without salt
vanilla extract
salt, table
sugars, granulated
oil, corn, peanut, and olive
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, cream, peanut butter, vanilla, salt, and sugar.
Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved (when you pinch a little between your thumb and forefinger, it shouldnt feel gritty).
Scrape the yogurt mixture into your ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturers directions.
Churn until the yogurt has thickened to the texture soft-serve ice cream or a thick milkshake, 17 to 20 minutes for most machines.
Scoop the frozen yogurt into a container with a lot of surface area (a Pyrex loaf pan is perfect) and smooth the top.
Sprinkle with the chopped peanuts.
Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until hard, at least 6 hours.
