Perfect Rice Every Time
Ingredients:
rice, white, long-grain, regular, unenriched, cooked without salt

Directions:
Put the rice and salt in a 2-quart saucepan, add 2 cups of water, and cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to the lowest possible setting.
Cook for 14 minutes.
Turn off heat and let the rice steam in the pan for 5 more minutes.
Fluff the rice with a fork.
