Aunt Erma's Famous Caramel Frosting
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, brown
salt, table
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
vanilla extract
sugars, powdered
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter in saucepan.
Stir Constantly; add milk and bring to a boil.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Sift in powdered sugar.
Add vanilla.
Add enough additional milk to make of spreading consistency.
Frost cake quickly as frosting tends to solidify.
