Sweet and Sour Sauce
Ingredients:
sugars, brown
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
vinegar, distilled
water, bottled, generic
soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
spices, paprika
Directions:
Blend sugar and flour in saucepan.
Add vinegar and mix.
Add water, soy sauce and paprika.
Stir on medium heat until it boils and thickens.
Pour into hot sterilized half pint jars to within 1/4 inch of the top.
Place sterilized metal lids on jars and screw metal bands on securely.
For added assurance against spoilage, you may choose to process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
