Black Walnut Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
cream, whipped, cream topping, pressurized
salt, table
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
butter, without salt
nuts, walnuts, english
nuts, walnuts, english
Directions:
Cook sugar, cream of tartar, salt, and lowfat milk to soft ball stage, stirring frequently.
Wipe down sides of pan to remove crystals.
Remove from heat; add in butter.
Cold without stirring, till lukewarm.
Add in extract and nuts; beat till creamy.
Pour into a greased square pan; cut in squares.
Makes 11/2 pounds.
