Yummy Maple Syrup Muffins

Ingredients:
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
sugars, granulated
salt, table
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
oats
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
syrup, maple, canadian

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F and grease muffin tin or line with paper cups.
In medium bowl, blend softened margarine with sugar and salt.
Add flour and baking powder and blend with pastry cutter or back of fork until evenly distributed and it resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the oats.
In small bowl, combine syrup and milk and blend until it is a light brown color.
Pour milk mixture into flour mixture, stirring just until moistened.
Bake for 18-20 mins or inserted toothpick comes out clean.
