Mom's Southern Whole Wheat Biscuits
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
seeds, flaxseed
oil, canola
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients.
Then mix in Buttermilk, Canola Oil and Milk.
Flour your work surface, then knead.
Don't over knead the biscuits won't rise as much.
Cook in oven at 450 degrees for 9-12 minutes.
