Healthy Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
syrup, maple, canadian
oil, canola
vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
Add the chocolate chips.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, canola oil and vanilla.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients in the medium mixing bowl and mix until combined.
Drop a tablespoon-sized amount of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between the cookies as they will expand.
Continue to drop the dough to make 20 cookies.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until very lightly golden.
