Apricot Glaze For Pastry Recipe

Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
water, bottled, generic
lemon juice, raw
jams and preserves, apricot

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to the boil, stirring constantly.Boil fast to thicken.
Strain through a fine sieve and use while warm.
Brush onto pastries or possibly cakes to glaze.
Can also be made with other types of jam.
Gives a glossy finish to pastries.
