Sausage Gravy
Ingredients:
pork, fresh, loin, tenderloin, separable lean only, raw
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
spices, garlic powder
spices, pepper, black
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
(I usually dont worry about draining because the sausage I use is so lean.)
Stir in flour and seasonings until blended.
Gradually add milk.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Serve with biscuits, on toast, or however you like.
