Dumplings

Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
sugars, granulated
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
chives, raw
butter, without salt

Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients.
add:.
milk.
chives.
mix until flour forms a dough ball.
spoon drop into boiling salted water.
cook 12 minutes.
do not remove lid.
when done immediately.
remove from water.
brown butter in a seperate pan.
drizzle dumplings with browned butter.
serve immediately.
