Gingerbread Baked in a Jar

Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking soda
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
spices, ginger, ground
spices, ginger, ground
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, cloves, ground
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
water, bottled, generic
molasses

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon and cloves.
Stir in margarine, water and molasses until well blended.
Pour batter into pan or divide equally among the 5 jars.
Bake in preheated 350F (180C).
oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
DON'T over-bake!
Cool slightly on wire rack.
Serve warm with lemon sauce.
