Sausage Gravy

Ingredients:
pork sausage, link/patty, unprepared
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
spices, garlic powder
spices, onion powder

Directions:
First I start by putting the biscuits in the oven.
By the time they are ready to come out you will just be finishing with the gravy.
I use Pillsbury Biscuits.
In a large pot brown the mild breakfast sausage.
Once the sausage starts to brown add the garlic powder and onion powder.
Once the sausage is fully cooked (do not drain the grease) add the flour and stir around.
Cook this for 1-2 minutes.
Slowly at the milk and stir to combine.
Cook over medium/high heat and bring to a simmer stirring occasionally.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Once it starts to simmer reduce heat to low.
Continue to cook a couple more minutes until it has thickened.
