Sweet Cheese Scones
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
cheese, cheddar
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, cheese, and sugar.
Cut in margarine.
Add milk, stirring until mixture forms into a ball-shaped doughy consistency.
Pat mixture into a 1/2" sheet and cut into 6 equal pieces.
Bake at 425 for ~11 minutes.
