Ontbijtkoek - Dutch Spice Bread
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, brown
molasses
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
spices, cloves, ground
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, ginger, ground
spices, nutmeg, ground
spices, cardamom
salt, table
spices, ginger, ground
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine all ingredients into a smooth paste.
Lightly coat a LOAF pan with baking spray and flour.
Bake for a full hour.
When fully baked, open the oven door a crack, and allow loaf to cool in the turned off oven for 1/2 hour before removing from oven and cooling completely.
Then remove from pan.
Cool completely and store in plastic bag.Keep covered or bread will dry out.
