Menonite Pastry
Ingredients:
lard
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
water, bottled, generic
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
Directions:
1/ Place lard in bowl and pour hot water over it an stir till melted.
2/ Add dry ingreadients and blend by hand.
Refrigerate till ready to use.
