Home-Style Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
salt, table
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
spices, pepper, black
potatoes, raw, skin
butter, without salt
Directions:
Wash the potatoes well, leaving the skins on.
Place potatoes in a large saucepan.
Cover with water and 1 tsp salt.
Cover and bring to the boil.
Reduce heat, cook for 20-30 minutes or under tender.
Drain potatoes well and place in a large bowl
Mash the potatoes manually using a potatoe masher.
Then transfer to a large bowl, add the milk, butter, and pepper and a pinch of salt.
Using an electrical beater, beat on low speed until the potatoes are light and fluffy, add extra milk if too thick.
Check seasoning, and serve pipping hot.
