Green Peas with Lettuce

3 bodyweight (1.5 kg) peas within their pods to produce at minimum amount 1½ cups (175 gr) shelled peas—even more increase pods may well produce two times that total
1 medium or 2 reduced clean heads of butterhead, oakleaf, or other comfortable lettuce
a dozen fresh onions with minor bulbs
salt 1 tablespoon (15 gr) or added unsalted butter
Shell the peas. Discard the coarse outer leaves of the lettuce, cautiously clean each individual mind no cost of all hint of grit, and quarter the heads. House the peas, the lettuce with the water even now clinging, and the refreshing onions within a pan. Salt evenly (no pepper). Go over the pan and, around medium warm, provide the reduced total of liquid within the pan’s backside to a boil. At the time the peas are virtually finished—above 10 minutes—find the pan, consequently that the water just about fully evaporates as a result of the year the peas are gentle. Insert salt to flavor and style with a generous sum of butter, boiling momentarily to emulsify it with the being liquid. Serves 4.
