Apple syrup
Ingredients:
apples, raw, with skin
Directions:
Cut the apples in quarters (dont peel them).
Add a few tablespoons of water and bring to the boil.
Cook until the apples are very soft.
Put them in a clean dishcloth and press out all the fluid in a large pan.
Cook this juice on high heat until it becomes a syrup (a drop falling from a spoon makes a thread).
Allow the syrup to cool down completely.
It tastes very good on pancakes and cheese.
