Grandma's Granola

Ingredients:
oats
oat bran, raw
seeds, flaxseed
honey
oil, olive, salad or cooking
sugars, brown
water, bottled, generic
salt, table
cherries, sweet, raw
vanilla extract
nuts, almonds
spices, cinnamon, ground

Directions:
Preheat oven to 300.
Combine the oats, bran, flax and almonds in a large bowl.
In a small pot over medium low heat, combine the honey, oil, sugar, water,vanilla,cinnamon and salt, stir often.
After about 5 minutes (when it's bubbly), pour over the oat mix.
Mix well.
Spread on 2 rimmed baking sheets.
Bake for 30 minutes, stirring approximately every 10 minutes.
In the final 10 minutes, stir in the dried fruit.
Let cool and store in an airtight container.
Freezes well.
