Caramel Silk In A Jar
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
sugars, brown
syrups, corn, light
butter, without salt
cream, fluid, heavy whipping
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except whipping cream in 3-quart heavy saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 15-20 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil.
Stir in whipping cream; continue cooking 1 minute.
Cool 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into 5 (8-ounce) jars.
Cool 15 minutes; cover.
Store refrigerated.
Microwave, stirring occasionally, 30-60 seconds or until warm.
Serve over ice cream.
