White Or Cream Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
shortening, vegetable, household, composite
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
Directions:
Blend butter and flour together over low heat.
Add in vegetable water and lowfat milk or possibly cream slowly.
Stir and cook till thick as heavy cream.
All lowfat milk or possibly cream may be used in place of the vegetable water.
