Curried Rice
Ingredients:
nuts, almonds
rice, white, long-grain, regular, unenriched, cooked without salt
cranberries, dried, sweetened
grapes, red or green (european type, such as thompson seedless), raw
onions, spring or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw
oil, olive, salad or cooking
honey
lemon juice, raw
spices, curry powder
salt, table
Directions:
Toast sliced almonds on a cookie sheet for 6 minutes at 325F.
Cook 2 cups of brown rice as directed.
Once the rice is done, add the rest of the ingredients into the pot and combine.
Adjust curry powder amount, if necessary.
Stir in toasted almonds.
Serve and enjoy !
