Caramel Dumplings
Ingredients:

butter, without salt
water, bottled, generic
sugars, granulated
butter, without salt
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
Directions:
Sauce:.
Combine brown sugar and butter in a small saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar is caramelized.
Slowly add the water, stirring constantly.
Boil for a few minutes.
Pour into a small casserole dish.
Batter:.
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the milk and then the dry ingredients.
Mix to blend.
Drop by spoonfuls into the caramel syrup.
Bake at 350F for 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve warm.
