Homemade Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients:
cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
sugars, granulated
water, bottled, generic
vanilla extract
salt, table

Directions:
Combine cocoa powder and sugar in a pot, add water and stir.
Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved and cocoa is incorporated.
Bring to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
Do NOT over boil.
After 1 minute remove from heat and stir.
Cool completely and add vanilla and, if desired, salt.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, if it lasts that long, in a bottle or squeeze bottle.
Great on ice cream, in milk or anything else you need chocolate syrup for!
