Slow Cooker Chicken Curry with Quinoa
Ingredients:
chicken, broiler or fryers, breast, skinless, boneless, meat only, raw
onions, raw
celery, raw
apples, raw, with skin
soup, chicken broth or bouillon, dry
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
spices, curry powder
spices, paprika
quinoa, uncooked
Directions:
Place the chicken, onion, celery, apple, chicken broth, milk, curry powder, and paprika into a slow cooker; stir until mixed.
Cover, and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours.
Stir in the quinoa during the final 35 minutes of cooking.
Serve when quinoa is tender.
