Lemon Pepper Drop Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
spices, basil, dried
spices, pepper, black
leavening agents, baking soda
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
cheese, cheddar
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Heat oven to 375F.
Combine flour, baking powder, basil, lemon & pepper seasoning and baking soda in bowl; mix well.
Add margarine; mix in with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in shredded cheese.
Stir in milk just until moistened.
Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls, 2 inches apart, onto large ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
