Baked Rice and Peas

1 cup raw prolonged grain rice
14.5 oz can pounds absolutely free bird broth (vegetarians hire vegetable broth)
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
5 oz (1/2 package deal) frozen peas

Preheat oven to 350°. Blend all components within just a oven-secure baking dish with a lid. Stage a piece of tin foil involving the lid and the dish to guarantee no steam escapes. Bake 45 minutes (do not open, do not peek, do not stir to rice). Whilst 45 minutes is up, remove towards oven and allow it sit for 10 far more minutes to let the steam to full cooking the rice, (do not open, do not peek, do not stir to rice). Soon after 10 minutes, remove lid and fluff with a fork.
Results in 3 3/4 cups
