Grandma's Caramel Frosting

Ingredients:
sugars, brown
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
vanilla extract

Directions:
Combine brown sugar, milk, and butter; bring to a full boil and cook for exactly 2 minutes.
Remove from heat; add baking powder and vanilla.
Beat until thick enough to spread.
