Easy German Chocolate Cake Icing

Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, brown
shortening confectionery, coconut (hydrogenated) and or palm kernel (hydrogenated)
nuts, pecans
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d

Directions:
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Stir brown sugar, coconut, pecans, and milk into hot butter; bring to a simmer.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbling, about 3 minutes.
